Sometimes the most stressful of days turns into the biggest blessing one can imagine.\u00a0 <\/span>Yesterday I was moving from my apartment to a house on the military base, I hired a moving company so they could do all the heavy lifting down the 41 stairs with no elevator,\u00a0 <\/span>my two friends came early in the morning and helped me continue to pack, and get ready to help with the move, about an hour later the moving company showed up, looked around and said you have too many stairs and a lot of heavy items (no kidding it\u2019s a home!) we won\u2019t do it, trying to stay calm but starting to become frustrated I said \u201c I hired your company, you agreed to the stairs and detailed items list that I sent over a month ago so you have to make it happen as it\u2019s moving day today.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>They left and then the company called me to tell me I lied to them, which isn\u2019t true, after back and forth they were extremely rude and was trying to charge me time that hadn\u2019t started yet, because they left!\u00a0 <\/span>Stressed beyond stressed I get a voice message from a friend asking how everything was going and when to come to help clean my apartment.\u00a0 <\/span>By this time I was in tears from frustration and stress, so I answered her in tears and she responded by calling me and telling me that she and her husband is going to get people and come move me.\u00a0 <\/span>Within two hours there were four more people that showed up with trucks then another couple showed up with their truck. The hauling, the moving big items and small boxes started coming down the stairs, to be loaded into the trucks. <\/span><\/p>\n

The first load was filled\u00a0 <\/span>up and we drove over to the new place to unload, I didn\u2019t do much lifting and moving because I had to direct everyone where to put the items.\u00a0 <\/span>Not only did they bring the items into the house, they put the items in their respective rooms including the basement.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the second load was completed and we had just one more to go 4 more strong men came to help with the finishing touches, the washer and dryer was placed into the basement and hooked up, the stove was put into the kitchen and hooked up, the cabinets were brought into the living room and re-assembled. The fridge was brought in and put where it needed to go. <\/span><\/p>\n

The day that started out with immense stress and frustration turned into a day of the biggest blessing one can only imagine, an entire team of people rallied together from many different areas meeting each other for the first time, all to help me out in a bind. <\/span><\/p>\n

Everyone fell into their own roles naturally some people were hauling, some carrying boxes, some stacking in the little cube trailer we rented from u-haul and the trucks and my sister who was amazing and watched 5 children for over 6 hours.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am forever grateful and will always hold this help in my heart forever, thank you so much to everyone that came out to help me, I\u2019m a so touched and will be forever grateful. You don\u2019t know how much it meant to me. <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
