Today we took a bus to Table Mountain this place is 1084 meters and is one of the 7 natural wonders of the world. On this mountain there are 10400 plant species that can only be found on Table Mountain and no where else in the world. <\/span><\/p>\n

Once we arrived at this beautiful place, we took a cable car to the top, you can hike it but that would have taken 3 or so hours to do one way, on this cable car it rotates so you get to see a 360\u00b0 view. Upon arriving at the top we walked around, saw some beautiful plants, some lizards, some what kinda look like bearded dragons, and some dassie animals sunning themselves.\u00a0 <\/span>The view from the top was spectacular, breathtaking stunning.\u00a0 <\/span>It was such a great time. <\/span><\/p>\n

Upon returning to the bus we went to a town where there used to be slaves, many different cultures of slaves, they lived in these houses , the houses all had to be white, then when they got freedom they painted their houses the most bright and wonderful colours, it was so neat to walk around and see. <\/span><\/p>\n

In the afternoon we went to a township, Langa was the one we went to, what a township is, is people from rural areas who come to the city to seek out a better life, they come with nothing so they start out in these townships, in homes made out of wood and metal siding, or half of a shipping container, they do what they can to survive and make some money for themselves. The people there were so welcoming, they were so happy and wanted to show us everything about their world. We met two men who had a business processing and cooking and selling cow legs and lambs legs. Then another place was cooking and selling sheep\u2019s heads. We chatted with the locals and then squeezed in for a photo with 4 wonderful woman. Then after that one of the Germans was getting a photo and one of the ladies wanted to her to come over to her, but there was confusion and she didn\u2019t go, the poor lady looked so upset and so I ran over and got a photo with her, she gave me the biggest hug and the smile was huge. <\/span><\/p>\n

As we kept walking we were stopped by another one of the locals, she was a almost 60 year old she proudly declared, and told us a bit about her life, then after the speech and conversation we went to leave, she then stood right in front of me and said angerly \u201cyou didn\u2019t ask me what sport I play\u201d I replied I\u2019m sorry what? She says again \u201cyou didn\u2019t ask me what sport I played.\u201d So I then say to her, \u201cok what sport do you play?\u201d She says \u201cbut you didn\u2019t ask me!\u201d So I say I\u2019m asking you now what sport do you play?\u201d She comes back with \u201c but you didn\u2019t ask me, I had to tell you to ask me.\u201d Then turns and walks away, I look at the tour guide and the bus driver who were right beside me and say, \u201cI have no idea what just happened\u201d they then burst out laughing and said \u201cneither do we\u201d we laughed about it for the rest of the tour and needless to say I still have no idea what sport she played. <\/span><\/p>\n

After that we went to a cooking class where we made some traditional African dishes, I made a marinated steak, then fried them up, some of the other dishes were veggies, chicken with some amazing blend of spices, some ribs, a bread type thing that tasted oh so amazing! The chefs that helped us were just the funnest and spunkiest people. I had a fantastic time, the food was mmmmmm so tasty! <\/span><\/p>\n

Now I\u2019m in bed it is 2200 and I\u2019m exhausted. Have an amazing rest of the day. <\/span><\/p>\n
