Everyday is filled with smiles, laughter, adventures, and opportunities. You just have to seek them out.
I won hide and seek

I won hide and seek

Guys, I did it! I won at hide and go seek. I finally found my Ptarmigan birds that belong in the grouse family. My friend picked me up for one last hang out before she sets off for deployment tomorrow and I said “wanna go for a little drive and see if we can find these birds?” so we did, at first there was no success we did find a fox though, he ran right in front of our car and then just kind of sat on the side of the road for a minute. He was beautiful, orange and fluffy. Just the most gorgeous thing. I was unable to capture a picture of it, but that’s OK as we continued on our drive we were looking and looking and chatting and chatting when I finally basically yelled, I SEE ONE!!! so my friend goes around the block pulls onto the side of the road and I jump out, so excited to see them and let me tell you once I got out and really looked there was probably 30 of them! They just looked like little balls of snow. It was very hard to spot them. They have feathers on their feet black on the ends of their tails and when they sit down in the snow you wouldn’t even tell they’re there.

After our glorious seeking of the hiding birds, we went back to my friend’s house and finished the etching in the glass, it turned out amazing. I am so happy with it. It’s definitely something I’ll treasure forever. Then we had a glorious supper of pulled pork and headed to the pool where we swim for an hour chatted and had a great time.

Please if you would like send your good thoughts towards my friend as she heads off to her deployment tomorrow.
