There are many days where I feel frustrated. It is either with someone else, with myself. those can be reasoned with, talked to the person who you’re frustrated with, however nothing get my blood boiling more then what is untimely silly, and no logical reasoning, for example when I can’t find the head hole in my sweatshirt and try to push my head through the arm sleeve.
The other day I was driving around with my friend, and I got to thinking, I bet the animal world doesn’t ever feel the extent of frustration that I feel at times. I thought that they must just not have the brain capacity or the care, I thought they may have this understanding to just fly, run or swim away and continue with their lives.
Then I saw a group of Seagulls finding fish and feasting so I stopped to take some photos. After seeing them interact with each other, and after having a good belly laugh it wasn’t long before I realized that the animal planet does in-fact feel the frustrations of life just as much or maybe even more then we do.
So if you are feeling overwhelmed with frustration please remember it will pass and you are not alone.

Jonathan Livingston Seagull was my favorite book. I’ve never looked at seagulls quite the same since. My parents used to watch birds especially at the feeder, and often commented, “birds are like people some greedy while some are considerate and kind…” And sometimes they would say with a sly smile “people are like birds”…
