What can I say about Africa. There are not enough words to describe what I am feeling. I went there full of hopes and dreams, and when I left, I was filled with memories and laughter,  I travelled there with my most amazing friend Nicole, this was an experience that I am so thankful to get to experience together, we went with a tour group, the group I went with was amazing, they were from all over the world, they were fun, unique in their own way, and the perfect company for this experience.  Nicole and I did 9 safari’s, which included 5 land , 1 Walking and 3 Water Safaris. we camped in the safari lands behind with only a fence separating us from the wild lions and other night predators, we sat around the campfire while listening to the elephants, Hyenas, and Lions singing up a nightly song. The trip started off in Cape town, where we saw the penguins that were natural to that area, then we travelled to Johannesburg where we went on our first safari, seeing the Big 5 within one day. Met some amazing local people who were all so happy to share their culture. This trip was a lifelong dream and I couldn’t have asked for anything better, it was everything and more that I ever hoped it would be. Chase your dreams, because your dreams wont chase you.

Once Returning home from Africa there was a day where we were in Toronto before heading back home, so Nicole and I went to Canada’s Wonderland. we rode on all the roller coasters and did all the haunted houses, the day was amazing.  I was back home for only 6 days before I got into the car and drove back to Ontario.  I stopped to see my dear friend in New Brunswick, continued on to Ottawa and saw some family and friends, I went to remembrance day service in downtown Ottawa, and then continued on to Borden. My time in Borden was filled with hanging out with friends (after class of course), we made Candles, we hung out, I went to see my family who were in Toronto for a night, Nicole and her son came down, Angela, her daughter and I met up with them and we went to Ridleys Aquarium, then spent the evening at Canada’s wonderland for winterfest. I do and will always cherish these memories that were made what an awesome couple months.
