Yesterday it was a beautiful sunny light breeze gorgeous day, my friend and I went on a picnic to Lawrencetown beach, we ate out sandwiches, we talked, watched the people walking and surfing, and chatted the afternoon away. I was eating my banana when a beautiful golden retriever ran along the beach stopping sporadically to roll in the sand. We started to laugh and the dog noticed us, being the amazing pup he is he ran over and demanded pets. As we were petting and laughing and enjoying this dog he decided to help himself to my banana! Well I am glad he got to enjoy it, guess I didn’t need it.
A few hours later after my friend left to drive home, I got a message from my new two friends asking me if I wanted to go boogie boarding in the evening. Of course I said yes and got ready to head out. I always bring snacks with me when I go to the ocean as I get quite hungry after. So I brought three bananas one for each of us. We get there and jump in the water and boogie board for a couple hours. As we get back to shore and get dried off and start to pack up we all want a snack, reaching into the bag the bananas were pecked away and eaten by the birds!
…………………….I guess I’m not meant to eat bananas.
