The Unknown Is Unnerving.

So i’m out surfing and I’m still learning so I’m off the board constantly.  I look down into the water it is not calm seas and it’s hard to see but i notice a big dark shape.  I try to brush it off, there is no sharks this close to shore, must be a big fish or something.  As I continue to surf I notice this shape going wherever I go. I am beginning to become unsettled a little, is it an eel? is it a snake? is it a jellyfish? is it a octopus?

This is really making me nervous to the point of starting to become frightened, so I choose to lay on the board a bit a see what happens.

It is then whenI am laying on the board that I really study this shape, I study it hard watch the movement and I realize that with the water rippling, and me going up and down on the swells, that it is not a jelly fish, nor a octopus, eel or snake.  This whole time I am being followed by my boards SHADOW!

  1. Hahahahaha now, that’s funny!! But what is not funny is the poor lady who dies just off Maine coast from a shark attack. So you never know! Do be careful!
