I must share with you this hilarious funny story that happened this morning, I was standing on the bridge wing of the ship with the Executive Officer chatting away, watching the water, then we saw a pod of dolphins coming our way, so we both started watching them swimming towards us, jumping out of the water, splashing back into the water, and listening to their little breaths. I pointed out a Blue Bottle Jellyfish that was floating on the surface, we started a conversation of jellyfish, when a dolphin swam up to the surface, and ate the blue bottle jellyfish, now dolphins do not eat jellyfish, after he ate the jelly fish, we got to experience the poor thing let his intrusive thought win and then immediately regret this life choice that was made, he fling himself, turned, flopped and then dove deep.
It is so sad to think that he got stung so bad by such a venomous jelly fish, but it was also something I will never see again, and was quite funny to see the immediate “oh what have I done?”
